It’s Been a While . . .

Posted On January 28, 2020

It’s been a while since the last Blog. Lots has happened here on the Olive Grove not least of all was a major bush fire that tore through the district. We were SO fortunate, SO blessed in that although we lost about 600 olive trees and the boundary fence, neither the house nor our Food Trailers were affected at all. So it’s been business as usual!

Now we’re not generally the kind of people who need motivating, nor are we ones to let such a setback slow us down. We finished 2019 with one of the loveliest weddings we’ve done in all our years catering. It was held in an aircraft hangar full of restored planes and motorbikes. A team of 9 people worked hard all day in the heat to make it all run smoothly and the feedback was so genuinely warm. Beautifully crafted platter too!

In searching for a positive way to move forwards this year we’ve purchased a property in Toowoomba with a view to improving our business and building Flaming Good even bigger and better. We’ve also taken on more staff to meet demand so 2020 is going to be a HUGE year for us. Although we’re already towards the end of January we’d still love to wish you all the very best this year and to Thank You so very much for your support overt his challenging time.
